1) Quick band presentation, since when the band's up, who's playing what ? Quick discography.

We´re Nashgul from fuckin Spain……the band started in 2001 but until 2003 with the current line-up we didn´t start to take things seriously, we´re Iván (drums), Luis (bass), Hector (guitar) and Santi (vocals), we got a bunch of vynils coming out and one CD in Cahrecords for this summer, visit our webpage for more info: www.nashgul.cjb.net

2) What's the band actuality ?

The band actually is taking some vacations after our german tour, and while we drink some beers we´re waiting for our releases to be out…ah! Soon we will enter in our rehearsal room to prepare our first full length!!! Yeah!!!

3) Have you ever heard of OEF ? Did you play here already ? Have you been there ?

Yeah, I sang last year with Looking for an answer, and I have to say it was a really funny experience….OEF is the best festival I was in my life for sure…cheap beer, vegan food, tons of nice bands, distros. And you can go paying only 25€ for the 3 days, that´s fuckin awesome!!!!!!

4) What's your feeling to come and play for the (in my opinion) nowadays best & sicker fest in the world ?

I can´t wait dude, I really want to be there, drinking some nice beer and watching Dismember, Cripple Bastards and all the nice bands that will be playing…and of course it will be so fuckin awesome to meet a lot of friends there…cheers!!!!

5) What's the band main influences ? What do you usually listen to ?

I can say Brutal Truth, Napalm Death, Phobia, Assuck, Terrorizer, Defecation….all the almighty grindcore bands you know……anyway we listen to a lot of different stuff, my faves nowdays are Municipal Waste, Nun slaughter, Darkthrone, Bombstrike, Machetazo, Looking for an answer, Coffins and many more, but as I told you we listen to a lot of different stuff, I really love old doom rock and psychedelic 70´s stuff….Yeah, I´m a hippie haha!!!!

6) What's the first disc you ever bought ?

I think Sex Pistols “Nevermind the bollocks”

7) What's the (metal) artist that gives you a good laugh / you have mercy for - and why ?

Manowar “Gloves of metal” videoclip is the best metal video for sure!!! Why? You only have to watch it!!!!!!

8) What's the best country to play in and why ? / What's the worst country to play in and why ?

In all countries you can find good and bad places, it all depends of the people who set up the show, the place and the audience you know, in general I really enjoy to play in Germany and Bask Country, crazy audience!!!!! For me the worst country to play is France, I don´t know why but it´s so fuckin hard to set up a show there…..all french grinders get in touch with us, we really want to grind over there!!!!!!

9) What's the last political / news fact that you have something to say about ?

We´re concerned about politics in the sense that our lives are mislead and downtrodden by the fuckin politicians, we play social/political grindcore but we´re not a preaching band….we sing about all the shit we see around us but I really hate dogmatic and PC attitudes….

10) In your band, who's gonna be the worst drunkard at OEF ?

Ivan, our drummer without doubt!!! We will need a rescue team to find him and take him back home!!!

11) Who's gonna phone his wife / girlfriend to say 'hi dear, I arrived well but people here are scary!' ?

Cell phones must be turned off as soon as we arrive in Trutnov hahaha

12) Can you tell me the best joke you know for our readers ?! (a short one please ;-))

It´s so hard for me to tell jokes in English, so I recommend you instead to watch “gloves of metal” clip with a six pack in each hand hahahha
